months now with no known issues although we are only using the client

Alas, it seems that the attached DpkgTerminalLog.txt only contains the
logs from your attempts to fix the issue. Is it possible to attach the
contents of /var/log/apt/term.log, as that my contain the actual
failure?

Thanks but the purging and installing the mysql-server-5.1 did not help.
My databases were not dropped. I tried dropping one of them after I
login to mysql, then the server was gone as the error recurred.
I would be glad to send my databases to you guys to help find the bug
and help others in
The uploaded package adds three patches, but the source was misbuilt: It
adds a debian/patches/debian-changes-0.9.11-1ubuntu1.1 which reverts the
three patches. Please reupload.

I had the same issue where it would hang and not generate thumbnails for
HTML . I ended up un-installing any beta Firefox web browsers and
xulrunners that weren't with the regular Ubuntu repos, now everything
works again. I also tested the OP link and it worked fine.
