[Bug 731572] Re: php5-fpm chokes on missing /var/www
Ondrej, we generally fix things in Ubuntu first and then send the patch back to Debian later once we know the fix was effective for Ubuntu users. Maybe that's generally what you (should) do, but I don't remember a single patch provided by the Ubuntu to the Debian pkg-php team. I had to cherry-pick interesting stuff myself, and given that the Debian php team is undermanned for a long time, this isn't exactly a good base for fruitful cooperation... [Bug 758808] Re: ipvsadm -n doesn't work
Hi Ralf. Thank you for taking the time to report bugs and trying to make Ubuntu better. The reason why -n or --numeric does not work is because the option is a parameter rather than a command. If you take a look at the ipvsadm manpage, you'll see that -n/--numeric is listed under PARAMETERS. According to he manpage: PARAMETERS The commands above accept or require zero or more of the following parameters. Now, given that -n/--numeric is a parameter, you need to use it with a command. Example: sudo ipsvadm -L -n This example uses the COMMAND '-L' with the parameter '-n'. For this reason, I'm marking this bug as invalid. [Bug 747090] Re: wrong return address sometimes pushed for INT in kvm (not qemu)
No comment on this patch yet from upstream, but this patch follows upstream guidance in actually fixing the bug as opposed to undoing the bad patch altogether (as my last patch did).
