another office "solves" the flickering issue.

I have the same issue with a new Dell Latitude E5520 that I bought about
a month ago. Touchpad is recognized as a PS/2 Mouse, so I don't have a
"Touchpad" setting under Mouse in System Settings (kubuntu natty) and
can't access any touchpad features, although vertical scrolling does
work.

login looks great, seconds later the theme crashes and im on ugly
square.
this does not happen if i kill gdm and startx as my user. only happens

Took me a while to realise why the menus were not as complete as I read
in the manual... but a screenshot confirmed it and I was able to run the
denemo app properly after sending the directive
export UBUNTU_MENUPR
Wubi 10.04.2 on external drive worked the same. So I'm 5 for 5.
