The changelog looks appropriate. IPv6 support is one of the goals of
oneiric, so that's good to have; code fixing for python3 is also
appreciated. As you already tested this, and there are no major new
features other than these, and this has very few rdepends other than
OpenStack and python-kombu,
I did a code grep of ubiquity, and it seems alright.
ubiquity/frontend/noninteractive.py imports "gobject" and could be moved
to gi.repository.GObject, but as it doesn't use any GI bindings, it
ought to work.
I'll test this on a live system once we get a daily build with the new
ubiquity.

I have the GTK UI side of the u1-control-panel fixed in lp:~pitti
/ubuntuone-control-panel/mix-static-gi, but bin/ubuntuone-control-panel-
backend is harder: it uses
from gi.repository import Soup, SoupGNOME
which includes GObject. I'm not sure whether this could just be changed
to use httplib
I'm still able to reproduce the error using unity - 4.8.0-0ubuntu3 and
then trying to open any application with Wine.
A command as simple as winecfg triggers this bug, so I think is not
fixed yet.

This is in fact a regression in the new version of sip4 that was
uploaded. It looks to be caused by a Debian-specific patch that removes
all linker options; presumably the underlying code has changed since
that patch was written, since it's not a new patch.
