As a follow up, first I forgot to say, thanks for the great work. I took a look at the patches, and there are some fixes necessary. First off, make sure you start from the latest version of the package for the desired release. multipath-tools has been updated in lucid, maverick, and natty, so you need to get the source from there rather than the release pocket. Well, if I had something to report in the last 60 days, I would have. I can say that the record is now 9 times before the burn dialogue would pop up, so definitely not getting any better! [Bug 830871] [NEW] Mobile broadband reconnection fails
Public bug reported: Scenario: Connected to cellular broadband connection: connection drops, automatic reconnection starts. Expected result: Connection re-establishes. Actual result: Same as Expected result, OR NM forgets that it has a saved password and repeatedly prompts for password. No input password will validate, connection eventually drops due to failed authentication. Subsequent reconnection attempts (manual and automatic) result in same behavior. Error persists through disconnection/reconnection (replug) of wireless device (Moto RAZR V3C in this case). Restart of NM (or reboot) required to establish new connection. Identical issue on second system, same arch/versions installed, but otherwise drastically different hardware aside from phone. After an Ubuntu update 2 days ago, my google chat contacts have disappeared from Empathy. My chat status however shows as 'available'. I'm also visible to my contacts and they're able to initiate chats with me.. I'm running a 64bit version of Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS with empathy 2.30.3-0ubuntu1.
