[Bug 848643] [NEW] eucatools not working
Public bug reported: When using eucatools to create and store data (e.g. euca-add-keypair, euca-run-instances) the nova-api creates a traceback with TypeError: create_key_pair() keywords must be strings. The error must be strings always raises when you use any euca-command except the ones which only generates output. A corresponding trace is here: http://paste.openstack.org/show/2426/ Vishy took a quick look and gave me the following: http://paste.openstack.org/show/2427/ Using this patch, the commands work again. I've used the rc for this. [Bug 801501] Re: [MIR] nova
This is a step in the right direction (regex arg filtering is better than filename-glob filtering), but I think this probably needs to have even more logic built in. For example, running ip ... $interface ... might need logic to have the wrapper look up the interface and decide if it is actually a nova-controlled interface, etc. Overall, the trajectory for this design looks fine -- there is a well-defined boundary between nova and root. Continuing to get it even more highly specified is the right way to go. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nova in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801501 Title: [MIR] nova To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nova/+bug/801501/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Re: [Bug 723796] Re: Enable spice in kvm
Quoting Doug Stanley (d...@douglasstanley.com): Is this supposed to be fixed for qemu-kvm? Or am i supposed to install another package to get spice support? I'm running oneric and using qemu- kvm from the main repos, but no spice support seems to be available. This is awaiting a feature freeze exception (FFE) for spice-gtk and for qemu-kvm. [Bug 831496] [NEW] [FFe] Add cobbler enrollment support to server cd image
Kate Stewart (kate.stewart) has assigned this bug to you for Oneiric: One of the work items for https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/server-o-cobbler-next- steps is to support enrolling a new server with cobbler as a menu option. Some work has already been achieved in doing this, but the source package for cobbler-enrol has not yet entered the archive. The package is quite simple (containing a smallish C programme), and provides a deb and udeb for installer integration. It is expected to be seeded (so MIR required), and a change to the server iso to add a menu option. This should have no impact on other flavours. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: High Assignee: Ubuntu Server Team (ubuntu-server) Status: New ** Affects: Ubuntu Oneiric Importance: High Assignee: Ubuntu Server Team (ubuntu-server) Status: New ** Tags: rls-mgr-o-tracking server-o-ffe -- [FFe] Add cobbler enrollment support to server cd image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/831496 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is a bug assignee. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 849672] [NEW] make libvirt trivial to backport to lucid
Public bug reported: While libvirt can be backported to natty without changes in order to backport to maverick or lucid requires some minor changes. I have not prepared a debdiff because in my backports I usually simple disable macvtap support as I do not need it however for a proper solution macvtap support should be detected and set in the rules file accordingly. Here are the other changes, from my notes: * control build depends - change cdbs version * control build depends - change python-dev version * control build depends - add python-support * control X-Python-Version from 2.7 to current * rules add DEB_PYTHON_SYSTEM = pysupport * rules macvtap support (as mentioned above) ** Affects: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to libvirt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/849672 Title: make libvirt trivial to backport to lucid To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/849672/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 827491] Re: [Inspiron N7110] Ethernet is unmanaged
Hi Marc, Please attach /etc/network/interfaces. Ref: In `man networkmanager.conf` managed=false | true Controls whether interfaces listed in the 'interfaces' file are managed by NetworkManager. If set to true, then interfaces listed in /etc/network/interfaces are managed by NetworkManager. If set to false, then any interface listed in /etc/net‐ work/interfaces will be ignored by NetworkManager. Remember that NetworkManager controls the default route, so because the inter‐ face is ignored, NetworkManager may assign the default route to some other interface. [Bug 848647] [NEW] 2nd screen comes up uninitialized
Public bug reported: When booting up, the 2nd screen (on the right, see attached picture) comes up uninitialized. The patter you're seeing there is a random pattern. When REBOOTING, the 2nd screen contains remainders of windows that were on the screen prior to the reboot. This can lead to privacy issues! Once I'm logging in, the right screen is properly filled with the desktop background picture. In any case, it's unclear to me if this is a bug in lightdm, xorg or in the nvidia drivers.
