I can confirm this. Using Lubuntu 11.10.
- I set the panel to a single color with some opacity.
- I logout and then login again.
- Panel looks a little bit corrupted like it does in my attachment.

Boot/Shutdown times have increased considerably.. Even I've noticed it and its
annoying.
I did a clean install and yet my shutdown time is 15s and boot time is 50s.
Ubuntu was no way like this. On Natty shutdown=3sand boot=35~40s
Memory: 2 GB at 1333Mhz
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8300 @
Also happens on Ubuntu 11.10
This is especially painful when you have a single core machine and 1GB of RAM.
The CPU use is somehow tamed by nice, but not the memory use.

USB
Hm, after five minutes, USB keyboard started to work... I tried
unplugging USB keyboard few times, but this did not helped. It just
started to work without doing nothing.
