Jean-Louis, thanks for preparing this patch. The following extra packages will be installed: - bar + bar:i386 The following NEW packages will be installed: - bar cool-bar:i386 + bar:i386 cool-bar:i386 0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. -Inst bar (1.0 Testcases:unstable [amd64]) +Inst bar:i386 (1.0 Testcases:unstable [i386]) Inst cool-bar:i386 (1.0 Testcases:unstable [i386]) -Conf bar (1.0 Testcases:unstable [amd64]) +Conf bar:i386 (1.0 Testcases:unstable [i386]) Conf cool-bar:i386 (1.0 Testcases:unstable [i386]) FAIL This clearly shows dependencies being followed as i386 packages on amd64; so something seems to be missing here. So to be complete, here are all three …) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There are three translation bugs in German language of Nautilus. I can't find the strings 239, 240 and 241 right now in Vertimus but they were visible in Launchpad [1] [2] [3] (where I JUST corrected them like shown below!). [Bug 981384] [NEW] Unexpected behavior when maximizing from tiled
Public bug reported: When a window is tiled, clicking the maximize button causes the window to restore as though the window was maximized. Expected behavior would be to have the window maximize. Some windows behave poorly. When clicking the maximize button on a tiled Firefox window, the Firefox windows title bar expands beneath the top panel, hiding the buttons and title bar. This makes it hard to access the window controls and to move the window itself. You have to hold down alt to drag the window, then you can maximize. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/981384 Title: Unexpected behavior when maximizing from tiled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/981384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 955601] Re: flash problem in aurora after update, installing adobe flash intaller will remove firefox
The bug is back again: I just have the same problem with Aurora: firefox (13.0~a2~hg20120411r90716-0ubuntu1~umd2~natty) and flashplugin-installer (11.2.202.228ubuntu0.11.04.1). At least with aptitude, after the install failure, the package remains in a to be installed state, which means all further install/updates will end with a failure status because of this package. [Bug 981049] Re: LTSP needs a non-intrusive method to set a default session
I think the problem is that Unity doesn't have Provides: x-session-manager and thus it breaks the update-alternatives system concept. $ apt-cache show gnome-session | grep Provides Provides: gnome3-session, x-session-manager $ sudo update-alternatives --config x-session-manager There are 2 choices for the alternative x-session-manager (providing /usr/bin/x-session-manager). SelectionPath Προτε Status * 0/usr/bin/gnome-session 50auto mode 1/usr/bin/gnome-session 50manual mode 2/usr/bin/openbox-session 40manual mode No Unity session there. [Bug 981406] [NEW] Bottom part of Shotwell window missing
Public bug reported: Ubuntu 12.04 fully up-to-date. Shotwell version: 0.12.2-0ubuntu2, installed by default, not from PPA When opening Shotwell maximized, the bottom area of the window, just below the photo/preview area is missing. The status bar itself is not there which also extends the full width of the window so the photo information sidebar section is also cut off at the bottom. I have attached a screenshot highlighting the exact problem. This ONLY occurs when the window is maximized and when using compiz-based Unity 3D. If I un-maximize the window, it appears fully and normally. If I close the window then open it in it's un-maximized state, it opens normally. Also, if I launch Shotwell maximized in Unity 2D, it displays normally. [Bug 981416] [NEW] Passthrough via SPDIF stopped working
Public bug reported: Description:Ubuntu 11.10 Release:11.10 NVidia HDA ALC1200 optical SPDIF digital output. Both DTS and AC3 worked well for months after early, unknown problems getting AC3 through. Upgraded various packages, including Mythtv to 0.25, before this latest problem. PCM works via the SPDIF optical cable. Attempts to play DTS 5.1 audio results in a 'Dolby Digital 3/2' display on the receiver and no sound. Choosing the PCM option from the same file plays in stereo okay. AC3 audio defaults to PCM (I think). The NVidia HDA ALC1200 seems no longer to have a digital 5.1 option when viewed with Pulse audio volume control but shows correctly in Mythtv and aplay -L. The receiver (Sony STR-DE835) decodes DTS and AC3 fine from a stand- alone DVD player via a coaxial cable. I'm well out of my depth here. I apologise if this is a settings mistake.
