This is not easily achieved as also upstream Mailman is tightly integrated and upstream also does not really support this separation. Mailman 3.0 (now in beta) promises to support this better, I don't think it's worthwhile to still invest time into this for the 2.x series. Hi, I have the same issue. I played around and got a good way through the issue. Starting lxc itself is ok. It's starting lxc-net that is problematic. It is the starting of dnsmasq that is the issue. It appears to be (at least in my case) caused by having /bin/sh set to bash. If link /bin/sh to /bin/dash, all works fine. If I link it to /bin/bash, then I have the issue. It crashed again after 3 days using 3.4.0-030400rc6-generic-pae. Similar in that it was when clicking on a email in thunderbird. I will post the kern.log when I get to the machine - it is my neighbour's (I could see it over ssh last night, but could not get it to scp to here). Well, I changed this bug to be against unity because this bug is only present when I have unity enabled. If I just disable unity via ccsm, or use a different window manager with compiz, this bug doesn't appear. Unfortunately, as Libre Office crops larger WMF files, the saved-as pictures are also cropped, and I have no way around that. For me, the only work-around remains either running 10.04 in a virtual machine or booting into Windows. I clearly hear what you say about working to a deadline, as that affects me every month! I have been suspend/resuming without power cycling for months on end on 10.04. After upgrade to 12.04, resume stalls immediately after disk spin-up, with flashing caps and scroll lock leds.
