Hi Robie
I have tried doing as you suggest, but the automatic upload of the
information appears not to be working. Possibly this is another symptom
of the same problem. I also tried implementing the upload from the
command line, but the upload failed there, too.
I am attaching TWO crash
multipath supports POSIX regexp: libmultipath/regex.c so you do need
the . to inform the wildcard what it's matching against e.g. (1+ more
characters).
There are also examples in the multipath.conf.defaults file that provide
examples
of regexp like:

Cleanup mechanism seems to be broken, at least for my setup and in
version provided with precise.
Setup:
Precise with 2 accounts set to backup daily with at least a month to local
volume.
Both account had backups for 3 last months.
Each full set take ~1GB and incremental
You can use both zlib and pthreads from my PPA:

It contains some win32 and win64 binaries in deb packages compiled by mingw

I use your version of compiz for Kubuntu 12.04. This is cool work!
But I've some problems with installation this version.
For install it, I must uninstall precise's compiz 0.9.8, then install
compiz-core, libdecoration0,compiz-plugins-default with option force version.
