[Bug 1003296] Re: lightdm crashed with SIGSEGV in _pam_winbind_change_pwd() when password is expiring
Actually, this is not the first time we see a similar issue. We ran into it with 10.04 / Lucid + samba + gdm and this was before our domain controllers were 2008 R2. I can't quite remeber what fixed it then (I'm still digging through old emails) but I have a vague memory of it being fixed by a samba / winbind patch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003296 Title: lightdm crashed with SIGSEGV in _pam_winbind_change_pwd() when password is expiring To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1003296/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 974450] Re: irqbalance classifies network interfaces with custom/renamed interfaces as class other
This is pretty important. We're finally offering biosdevname for people that want to try it. It would be a bit of a black eye for us to not have a working irqbalance. Irqbalance is important for enterprise use cases, especially as we see 10gE become more mainstream, and the irqbalance we have currently is horribly out of date. Additionally, while we're past feature freeze now, I'd like to point out that the bug has been open since 04-05, and we've had a debian package since at least 06-25, which is over 2 months ago. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to irqbalance in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/974450 Title: irqbalance classifies network interfaces with custom/renamed interfaces as class other To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/974450/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 985489] Re: nova-compute stops processing compute.$HOSTNAME occasionally
@Serge, As mentioned in #1 the cluster is running Precise + Essex. Unfortunately I cannot consistently reproduce the problem, however the problem has been recurring approximately once per month. [Bug 985489] Re: nova-compute stops processing compute.$HOSTNAME occasionally
We ran into this issue as well and as you have correctly stated, it's a result of libvirtd becoming unresponsive. Thus far we have not been able to resolve the issue at its core but I can offer you a workaround. It's a simple script which calls virsh help (which will block indefinitely when the libvirtd process is unresponsive), wait 30 seconds for a response and restart libvirtd after the timeout has elapsed. Run it out of cron every 5 minutes or whatever you're comfortable doing. https://github.com/metacloud/openstack- tools/blob/master/libvirt/check_fix_libvirtd By no means is this a fix but it'll mitigate the issue for you operationally for now. In every situation we've had the script trigger, nova-compute recovers as you would expect, without needing a restart. Hope that helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nova in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/985489 Title: nova-compute stops processing compute.$HOSTNAME occasionally To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/985489/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 1045845] Re: 12.10 guest crash on login when using 12.04 qemu-kvm with cirrus driver
Please collect a full backtrace on this crash - see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing for guidance. ** Description changed: On a 12.10 amd64 host with the 12.04 LTS qemu-kvm package (due to bug #1040033) using the cirrus (ie, the default qemu-kvm driver) with an up to date 12.10 guest (machine='pc-1.0'), lightdm starts fine. If I proceed to login, X crashes. If I upgrade qemu-kvm to 1.1~rc+dfsg- 1ubuntu10, I am able to login fine. I don't know why the crash file wasn't uploaded. [Bug 1046115] [NEW] package lists are broken after first boot
Public bug reported: After initial boot, 'apt-get update' is required at this point. [Bug 1044367] Re: [FFe] Feature freeze exception for maas in Quantal
@Stefano. Yes.. Apologies for not adequately commenting. This was accepted during the beta freeze, whilst not beta critical - it has been accepted as an opportunity target include, rather than spin- centric. It cannot impact non-maas testcases that i can see, so is largely self contained to the package itself. It was shared with me the testing that this package had received and I was satisfied. Andres committed to driving away any potential regression... even if that mean't a reverting the upload. Therefore, satisfied. [Bug 1045986] Re: Ubuntu AppArmor policy is too lenient with shell scripts

I'd like to apply it to trunk as well (or make it suitable for that). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dhcp3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1045986 Title: Ubuntu AppArmor policy is too lenient with shell scripts To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/1045986/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
