However, that variable does not get cleared on the systems I have tested it under - as I mentioned before, logs say that -broadcast is used. Actually now it doesn't even work there as the problem is the same in both versions. It affected my build on 10.04 as nis package got changed^Wbroken during the LTS cycle. Probably I should have filed that bug under 10.04 as what used to work just fine, got broken by a new version of nis package. We are having the same problem. After restarting a VLAN interface in 12.04 (ifdown/ifup) we cannot communicate with other hosts in the the same VLAN. The ifup command does not report any error. It says: Added VLAN with VID == XX to IF -:ethX:- but no communication with hosts in the VLAN. [Bug 1077434] Re: Apache 2.2.14 Server Status no longer available
Thank you for your response and for carrying out these checks. Just to clarify, I am running Lucid 10.04 and server status had been working fine for years. I saw that Apache had been updated as part of the normal updates and thereafter server status came up with the error. No changes were made by me to the configuration file. If I issued the request https://127.0.0.1/server-status the following error comes up: SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
