1. Start LibreOffice writer (lowriter &).
2. Type in something.
3. File -> Save.
4. Type in a filename.
5. Click save.

Err, that wasn't clear enough perhaps. The problem is that the
resulting STL should look like it looks in the opencad preview, but it
doesn't have the "difference" operation applied. The exported STL is
just incorrect. If you compare the openscad file in preview with an STL
viewer looking at the

Allcaps aside, Ubuntu's been VERY slow graphics-wise ever since I got my new
Radeon HD 7850.
Not a hardware issue, Windows works fine with it for gaming.

Actually I have been using "-net tap". I don't run qemu-kvm as root per
se, although the "tapper" script runs as root to bring configure the tap
interface and assign it the user running qemu-kvm.
Sufficient to say, VDE is more convenient to set up than
bridging/tapping.

I have the same problem on Ubuntu 12.10. I have tried 2 fresh installs
and both the exact same issue. Copying about 45gig of music around
11,000 files the copy freezes anywhere from 200 to 600 meg. I thought I
would try Ubuntu 13.04 just to see... and it's plagued with the same
problem. Haven't mov
