are maximized, as some point since the reboot Unity will break and make
the window controls be unclickable if the window is maximized.
Unmaximizing the window allows me to click on them.

I had a similar weird flicker today but on Ubuntu 13 + GeForce GTS 450.

I have noticed that I have a huge number of dbus-daemon and dconf-
service processes running in my Ubuntu 13.04 laptop. Sometimes over 100
processes each.

In order to move forward on this bug, we need to know 1) if this still
happens when using grub2, and 2) We need a dump of the first 63 sectors
both before and after booting into windows. You can run sudo dd
if=/dev/sda count=63 of=dump to get that.
