[Bug 1250390] [NEW] No published Saucy armhf ephemeral images
Public bug reported: maas.ubuntu.com/images does not have a Saucy armhf image. From what I can gather, this may be because of an image size overflow due to too many kernels. Cloud images now use generic-lpae, and the ephemeral image generator is trying to add -highbank and -generic and running out of space. For Saucy, we need -generic only, as the current consensus (this may change) is that -generic is sufficient even on LPAE systems for ephemerals. ** Affects: maas (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to maas in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1250390 Title: No published Saucy armhf ephemeral images To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maas/+bug/1250390/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1210253] Re: With Havana 2 installed, Launching horizon UI results in the error NameError: name 'Dashboard' is not defined
I can still see the contradictory code in horizon/__init__.py. Should that be fixed too? I mean, if we decide that we do require Dashboard, Panel and PanelGroup, then maybe we should remove the try-except and warnings? If we decide that they are optional after all, then we should remove the asserts? Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1250321/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1250037] Re: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so and libpthread is ascii, not ELF
ok. found an explanation: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5554343/understanding-ldd-output : --- First success is /usr/lib/libc.so which itself is not a library, but a linker script (text file). So, script /usr/lib/libc.so is found earlier than actual library, and this script says, what file will be linked, libc.so.6 in this case. In more common case, lib___.so is symlink to some version like lib___.so.3.4.5 and there is SONAME field filled in lib___.so.3.4.5 which says to ld link not to lib___.so but to lib___.so.3.4 which is another symlink to lib___.so.3.4.5. This bug was fixed in the package systemd-shim - 4-0ubuntu1 --- systemd-shim (4-0ubuntu1) trusty; urgency=low * New upstream release: - Flush bus before exiting on idle to avoid a race where a message is queued up but not yet sent. This matters for long-running tasks like suspend. (LP: #1184262, part 2) - Don't exit-on-idle while shutting down to avoid losing the flag that tells us we are in the middle of a shutdown.
