Because in default Traditional Chinese environment, there is no English
input.
Either way users need to add it by themselves or to know the hidden
shortcut in each input methods.
And I think this should be a bug, as English input does not existed at
fresh install or live desktop.

This screen dimming problem has been around Gnome Ubuntu-based distros forever,
at least since around 8.x.
You can search and see how far back it goes. Today, I am using ArtistX 13.04
and looked for a solution again.
It still exists, I see.
The dimming/freezing has no set p
>From the dmesg, I found the disk (sda) is a SATA 3 disk, the ahci driver
will cover this kind of disk. While all errors were reported from sas
driver (serial scsi driver, intel isci driver). so from my point of
view, it is not a big problem since we don't have a sas disk installed
on the machine.

that this is caused by a different version of the python-kerberos
package. The authGSSClientInit method signature has changed.
I checked out the "release-3-3-4" tag in git, and made the following

I've seen this before on a different machine after upgrading to 13.10,

I can confirm this as well running Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 on a Sony VAIO f12
series laptop with Nvidia 210m. I have tried the latest NVidia driver
(nvidia-333 in the repository) as well as Nouveau with the same result.

/lib/systemd/systemd-logind-launch, instead of /bin/false.
systemd-logind-launch is in debian/, and the override_dh_install rule in

Er, with one small exception. The text entry icon appears, but in its
greyed-out form only. I was watching a video review of 14.04 and
noticed the icon appears its usual bright white. Small thing, but there
it is.
