Public bug reported: Operating System: Xubuntu 14.04 (Update from 13.10) CPU: Intel Celeron 847 1,1GHz RAM: 4GB Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 2000 Steps to reproduce the issue: - Open multiple windows on seperate workspaces. - Switch between windows via Alt+Tab. Expected Result: Application windows are rendered correctly, there are no visible graphical glitches. Actual Result: There are graphical glithes where the active window is only rendered partially, e.g. switching from Thunderbird to Chromium leads to a mixture of both applications. When hovering the mouse pointer over elements, those are updated and rendered correctly. The same effect may happen when minimizing / maximizing windows. [Bug 1314022] [NEW] Selecting/copying an url in the omnibox no longer (magically) copies the http://
Public bug reported: Back in Ubuntu 13.04, if you selected (by painting or triple-clicking) a URL in the omnibox, and then pasted it somewhere (with the middle mouse button), the pasted version would automatically have http:// prepended to the URL, even though Chromium does not display http:// in the omnibox. This was very useful. Unfortunately, in Ubuntu 14.04, Chromium no longer magically prepends http:// to pasted URLS. More precisely, Chromium DOES prepend the http:// when you Cut and Paste, but DOES NOT when you paint or triple click, followed by a middle click. ** Affects: chromium-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1314022 Title: Selecting/copying an url in the omnibox no longer (magically) copies the http:// To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1314022/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1312782] WifiSyslog.txt
apport information ** Attachment added: "WifiSyslog.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1312782/+attachment/4100088/+files/WifiSyslog.txt ** Description changed: I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS with kernel version : Linux anish-pc 3.5.0-45-generic #68~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Dec 4 16:18:46 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux. My computer is Toshiba Satellite C655-S5501. Possible package : Linux Since I updated to kernel version 3.5.0-46, I've been having problems with 'Enable Wireless'.Whenever I turn on 'Enable Wireless', I get a syscrash and have to hard reset my laptop. This happens 9/10 times. Sometimes it doesn't crash and I can use my computer without any problems. Sometimes, it doesn't crash when I enable wireless, but then if I turn off the wireless and reset it, it occurs again. This problem only exists for kernel version 3.5.0-46 to 3.5.0-48. Previous kernel versions do not have this problem and so I'm using kernel version 3.5.0-45 as it is stable for me. This problem first occurred when I updated to kernel version 3.5.0-46. When I was updating, I lost my internet connection for 10-15 sec and after regaining it, update-manager continued updating. I thought these crashes may have been caused because of this and so I waited to new kernel updates in the hope that this problem will get solved. But that didn't happen for next kernel updates : 3.5.0-47/48. --- AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.25. [Bug 1164957] Re: empathy-auth-client crashed with SIGSEGV in ag_auth_data_get_parameters()
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue. ** Changed in: empathy (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1164957 Title: empathy-auth-client crashed with SIGSEGV in ag_auth_data_get_parameters() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/1164957/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1312782] Re: syscrash on 'Enable Wireless'
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected precise running-unity ** Description changed: I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS with kernel version : Linux anish-pc 3.5.0-45-generic #68~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Dec 4 16:18:46 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux. - This problem first occurred when I updated to kernel version 3.5.0-46. - When I was updating, I lost my internet connection for 10-15 sec and - after regaining it, update-manager continued updating. I thought these - crashes may have been caused because of this and so I waited to new - kernel updates in the hope that this problem will get solved. But that - didn't happen for next kernel updates : 3.5.0-47/48. + This problem first occurred when I updated to kernel version 3.5.0-46.
