My 340.24 joy was short-lived it seems.
While the flickering/wiggling issues are vastly reduced compared to previous
drivers, they still exist.

With Christopher's packages, I still find this happening occasionally in
Firefox (flickering between the old and new content after scrolling),

Installing a fresh copy of desktop 14.04 the installer crashed when the
progress bar is on "installing System" after all the files have been copied.
I've tryed to "reinstall ubuntu" booting again from the usb stick but the same
happend.
