It seems like these lttng modules are bitrotting. There are even more build errors against the latest kernel (3.17-rc4). They don't include the right headers, and several of the APIs have changed. [Bug 1369052] [NEW] ubuntu-html5-container package has unused dependency on dpkg-dev
Public bug reported: The ubuntu-html5-container package has a dependency on dpkg-dev. [Bug 1368647] Re: GPS and location detection not working on Nexus 4
After further investigation I have now upgraded the radio firmware to radio-mako-m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1700.84 as I had previously downgraded and upgraded this before when using older versions of Ubuntu Touch. [Bug 1041790]
Hi Chris, meanwhile my current kernel is 3.16.1-46.1.g90bc0f1 I'm wondering (after a reinstall) that the semaphore bug hasn't occured yet, which was the case before (after a fresh install). This leads me to 4 definable possible reasons: 1. the named kernel revision somehow contains a fix for it. looking at the changes I could'nt get an affirmation to that assumption. 2. cgroup_memory=disabled has a relation to it. (That's why I removed it for now). 3. the BIOS settings (which could be different now) might have something to do with it. 4. I haven't installed KVM suppport yet. I'll post again if I find a reproducible explanation. [Bug 1058365] Re: Empathy (telepathy-sofiasip) cannot connect to SIP server via VPN
It's hard to tell if it's bug in Empathy, telepathy-rakia, sofia-sip or network-manager-openvpn. Here is my case. I have three SIP accounts: one for my company and two for personal usage, all three accounts work in simple case with single global IP address without NAT. I have following network setup that kills SIP connection: - my Wi-Fi is in 192.168.1.0/24 network and gives me default gateway and NAT - my VPN gives me _global_ IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, I __don't__ use VPN as default gateway and route only enterprise networks via VPN tunnel - my virual 10.0.1.0/24 network connects me with virtualboxes I use for development When VPN is disconnected telepathy selects 192.168... address for outgoing packets and all three SIP accounts work like charm. When VPN is __connected__ telepathy selects VPN IP address as source address. So, kernel routes packets via Wi-Fi network (!), not via VPN for two accounts of three. company account still works as it's reachable both via VPN and without it. Packets routed like that may be dropped due to various reasons - NAT, reverse-path filter, etc. The reason does not matter much. Bottomline - there are several ways to fix the issue. 1. add proper source-based routing setup to network-manager. In my case all SIP calls will be routed via VPN with this configuration as sofia-sip library prefers VPN address over everything else. It's not good in terms of latency, but it works. 2. update local-ip-address in SIP settings on network connectiviy change I implemented NetworkManager dispatcher script that sets local-ip-address using IP routing table. It does not look like generic solution, but it works for me: https://github.com/darkk/home/blob/master/bin/nm-sofia-reroute 3. add option to sofia-sip library to disable complex source address selection I've not actually tried it, but the script does alike job. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1058365 Title: Empathy (telepathy-sofiasip) cannot connect to SIP server via VPN To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/1058365/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 366963] Re: nautilus open with property no longer available for folders
In search for a solution, I ended up here. Sort of sad to see that the decision seems finalized in not including the feature. I wish Nautilus could have this feature as an option in the properties. The team can make the default to not allow open-as for directories, but those who adore the feature can still simply enable it. Nautilus has not much options available in its properties but I suppose that is so to keep things simple, and I do respect the decision. I understand that decision making is very hard. I thank the team developing Nautilus for all of their hard decision making and their effort to bring a great tool for everyone. [Bug 1368922] Re: nfsd stops running shortly after clients connect
Unable to run apport-collect on this server. Bug is very reliably reproduced, however. I have replicated it on test boxes I set up (to try to rule out possibility of hardware on the server). ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1368922 Title: nfsd stops running shortly after clients connect To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1368922/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
