I ended up on this page after doing a fresh ubuntu 14.01 install with
all updates. Needed to join it into a domain, instead i got this after

Sorry for not getting a chance to test this before upload, but now that
nfs-utils has support for systemd in the archive, I've rebooted and
tested it on a system that uses nfs.
I find that the idmapd service is not being started on boot when booting
with systemd.
$ pidof rpc

Hm, this seems to be related to mod_nss being enabled with Freeipa.
Disabling it fixes apache2 restart, though installing & enabling it
doesn't fail restart with upstart..

kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v4.0-rc2-vivid/ and my focaltech touchpad is working
perfectly!
(Of course now my nvidia driver won't compile ;) but go figure)
