Yes this patch is already included with kernel 3.19.0-13-generic It actually more of an issue with the audio control panel. The Mic is gray out. But after installing pavucontrol it start to work. I think the bug now is fix. I reinstall using ubuntu daily 20150412 http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
