gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xrandr default-monitors-
setup do-nothing, which is the fix released for Elementary OS. Those

sddm as Display Manager I can't start Unity. Every time I try to logon

Christopher if I don't install the xorg edgers ppa and just install the
Nvidia drivers the font rendering problem is no where near as bad. It
still flickers but all fonts are present on the screen. As soon as the
Intel microcode is installed and I do a reboot it's perfect.

Hi I have dell inspiron laptop and I'm using gnome ubuntu 14.04 LTS fallback
with matacity 64bit, composting is on for docky.
While using the standard LibreOffice which came with the disto, Everytime I use
the Font colour highlighting feature in Impress or any of the three
highlighting features
I run a 4.2 series kernel because of the AMD/ATI and Toshiba chipset
improved support. My thought is that upgrading to a version of Ubuntu
that officially support 4.2 would be better than staying on a
frankenstien version.
I removed the package ubuntu-release-upgrader-qt and now the upgrade is

dosbox [1].
For this integration to work, dosbox needs to support the 'mount -z y'
command to move the Z: mount to Y:.

This is definitely a bug, because layout does *not* imply typing
language, as OP says.
It is also surely the most important missing feature of the OSK. Lots of
us are in this frustrating situation, having to choose between the right
