[Bug 1501986] Re: Wifi signals are unstable and drops after sometime in RTL8723BE
Aakash Dabas, suspend is considered a separate issue from the scope of this report. Feel free to file a new report about it via a terminal: ubuntu-bug linux Regarding the scope of this report, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D (the release names are irrelevant for testing, and please do not test the daily folder)? Install instructions are available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds . This will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. If the latest kernel did not allow you to test to the issue (ex. you couldn't boot into the OS) please make a comment in your report about this, and continue to test the next most recent kernel version until you can test to the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this issue is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon, next to the word Tags, located at the bottom of the report description: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-X.Y-rcZ Where X, Y, and Z are numbers corresponding to the kernel version. If the mainline kernel does not fix the issue, please add the following tags: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-X.Y-rcZ Please note, an error to install the kernel does not fit the criteria of kernel-bug-exists-upstream. Once testing of the latest upstream kernel is complete, please mark this report's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. [Bug 1313158] Re: 10de:1049 Graphics lag and jerk with nouveau
peterzay, first, let me clarify a few things here. When you ask a ridiculous question about if I destabilized your system, then unnecessarily repeat details everyone has already seen by reading the bug report, and top it off with continuing the same accusatory and rude questioning by asking: "What part of the above do you not take seriously?" it doesn't make anyone interested in your problem, let alone motivate them to fix it. So I would recommend you fix the attitude. [Bug 1501993] Re: drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c:12326 check_crtc_state+0x2c5/0x440 [i915]()
Martin Smith, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D (the release names are irrelevant for testing, and please do not test the daily folder)? Thank you for your understanding. ** Tags removed: bios-outdated-a15 ** Tags added: latest-bios-a15 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Low => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1501993 Title: drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c:12326 check_crtc_state+0x2c5/0x440 [i915]() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1501993/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hi I have dell inspiron laptop and I'm using gnome ubuntu 14.04 LTS fallback with matacity 64bit, composting is on for docky. While using the standard LibreOffice which came with the disto, Everytime I use the Font colour highlighting feature in Impress or any of the three highlighting features in Writer and Calc and then change the colour it makes the panels on my desktop and Docky disapear. My workaround to restore the dock/panel is to Alt+Ctrl+Del twice and then everything re-appears, I then cancel the logout popup window. I have a friend I helped install a similar fallback with matacity system using the normal ubuntu 14.04 LTS distro (not gnome) 64bit, again composting is on for Docky, different type of laptop with the same issues. Both my friend and I do a lot of highlighting in our docs and its so annoying for us we are thinking of replacing LibreOffice with OpenOffice, at the same time we would rather LibreOffice if it could be fixed somehow. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1207229 Title: highlight background of calc cell hides/crashes unity-2D dock and gnome panel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1207229/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1502407] [NEW] dosbox: please improve interoperability with wine
Public bug reported: Since wine 1.3.12, wine will attempt to launch MS-DOS executables with dosbox [1].
