I could not figure out what it exactly did. After I dumped the LVM2
metadata, I could see that it erased all of the logical volumes, volume
group and physical volume. LVM save a buffer of all the changes and I
was able to recover the original state. However, after rebuilding the PV

Thanks for your comment. I need Chrome Sync as much as I need NaCL
support.
Thus the best solution I see for now is to use both, Ubuntu Chromium
built (Chrome Sync) and Chrome (for NaCL).

I have tried the Phonecoop SIM for the first time since the new OTA. A
'new voicemail' message appeared in Notifications. It dates to 19
September, as it turns out. Has appeared for the first time today
though.
Today, I made a call twice to a short dial number. Both times it went
through okay. So
I'm experiencing the same issue running after upgrading to 3.19.0-30-generic.
If I downgrade to 3.19.0-28-generic, the password prompt for my encrypted disk
behaves normally and I'm able to boot.

Strange, yesterday I tried to reproduce the bug again (with current
daily image), and this time it neither happened with an Ext4 nor with a
Btrfs partition (installation was successful and old @home subvolume was
correctly mounted).
Perhaps it had been implicitly fixed during the last week?
