After some testing, it seems that the change in indicator-application- gtk2 is correct, but it triggered another bug on lxpanel, or the interaction between lxpanel and indicator-application-gtk2. [Bug 1403792] Re: brightness of one of two screens no longer adjustable with hotkeys and menu
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected rc-7.3.2+15.04.20150420-0ubuntu1 vivid ** Description changed: Without noticible cause the brightness of the screen of my laptop is no longer adjustable and stuck at the lowest level. Both the hotkey on my keyboard and the brightness submenu in the system settings no longer show any reaction to changes (i.e. key pressing and using the regulation bar in the menu). The issue persists accross reboots which makes the main screen of my laptop unusable and it necessary to plug in an extra monitor! I had this issue on an unknown version of Ubuntu < 14.10 and the installation of `indicator-brightness` (https://launchpad.net /~indicator-brightness/+archive/ubuntu/ppa) and setting the brightness in it once to the lowest and then to the highest level fixed the issue (persistently accross reboots), but now it doesn't show any reaction neither (I adjusted the package soucres to point to `trusty` after `sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-brightness/ppa` in order to be able to install in 14.10). When the issue occured `indicator-brightness` was not installed. I could only fix the issue by rebooting and entering BIOS/EFI menu and using brightness hotkeys there. [Bug 1465196] Re: open-iscsi init script creates dependency cycle with NetworkManager
I ran into that bug again now that I really need open-iscsi ;) I'm using systemd on vivid. [Bug 1505088] [NEW] Surelock: GA2: ppc64-diag package opal_errd not autostarting on Ubuntu 15.10 (in systemd)

You should contact the system tester or defect submitter before performing any disruptive actions. Problem Description On Ubuntu 15.10 partition, I created directory /var/log/dump and installed the ppc64-diag package. I ran following commands to complete both tasks. sudo mkdir /var/log/dump #Create dump directory sudo apt-get install ppc64-diag #install PPC64 diagnostic package Afterwards, I ran HTX to exercise the hardware in system, specifically focused on exercising between Corsa-CAPI cards and the flash system. Then, I started TER 93148 for continuous user dump. For TER 93148, I ran a script that continuously intiates a USER dump about every 2 hours. The system dump and fsp dump are expected to move from FSP to Ubuntu partition after system reaches runtime and boots the Ubuntu partition. However, the system and FSP dumps aren't getting moved from the FSP to the Ubuntu partition. [Bug 1425447] Re: pulseaudio crashed with SIGABRT in core_free() at login
@Seb128, The main problem here is lack of people who can reproduce the problem and help us out (see comment #14). Lacking that, the commit you point at is merely a guess, and probably won't solve the problem for everyone. But it's the best guess I came up with, given the lack of reproducability here. So, yes, I certainly don't mind us backporting that commit to Wily (and for 16.04, we should have PA 7.0 which already includes the patch), but don't have too high hopes about it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1425447 Title: pulseaudio crashed with SIGABRT in core_free() at login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pulseaudio/+bug/1425447/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1323837] Re: Sim toolkit is not available on UT
Some code we can base our work on is in https://github.com/meego-tablet- ux/meego-app-satk However we need to be able to process requests from STK in the background to push notifications or other requests. We maybe can put in a small plugin into ofono which triggers this when the STK agent should be triggered but is suspended or not available. As a further note: I talked with Tony (awe) a week ago and he said from the ofono side there should be nothing left to do for STK support. @Tony: Can you confirm that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1323837 Title: Sim toolkit is not available on UT To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1323837/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
