Not sure if there is a single cause, but it does seem to happen if I
attempt a pinch-zoom-out
Workaround is to swipe in from the left edge, find the apps menu, and
re-enter the browser with the icon

Just out of curiousity, how did you manage to install xenial xpra on
trusty? Did you recompile from source? Trusty cannot satisfy the
runtime dependencies of the xenial xpra and quite likely you'd run into
dependency trouble for the compile-time dependencies as well. I

The 4.7-rc1 kernel was not bootable on my system. However, I have been
testing with 4.6.0-996-generic #201605082201 from drm-next and the
behavior is better. With the drm-next kernel, I am able to dock/undock
the laptop multiple times without a freeze and the displays are
recognized and can be
fail2ban 0.9.4-1 has been synced to Ubuntu 16.10 "yakkety", which is
scheduled for release in October 2016.

I started having another less frequent issue shortly after (also
disconnects, but completely different errors). I was only able to solve
that one by getting the newest firmware (-21.ucode) AND rebuilding the
iwlwifi modules

Sorry for the lag here. I am about to kill this machine (not really but
some version of Linux needs to work).
1. It occurs when resuming from suspend. They keyboard lights up, and
then fades. To me it looks like the Wireless driver hinders the
