An update on this bug - since moving to Ubuntu 16.04.2 (which ships with
4.8), I can no longer seem to reproduce any wireless network downages.
This also applies to 4.10.
What I can't seem to understand, though, is why the kernel keeps wanting
a file named `ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0/firmware-5.bin` -
Current version in Zesty is 608 from 2014, while the latest one is 625 from May
of 2016.
Old version also contains old dependencies like gksu, which no other apps are
using.

In 14.04 LTS, this library was compiled with C++11 support, but in 16.04
LTS, it does not support that any more. As a result, when one tries to
link applications compiled in C++11 to this library, it gives error
"undefined reference to
Ping says that pl.archive.ubuntu.com points to ubuntu.task.gda.pl which indeed
does not seem to be in sync with main server.
Some other Polish mirrors, like ftp.icm.edu.pl seem to be up to date.
So the problem is with some mirrors having issues with syncing with main server.

That solution does not work for me (Ubuntu Gnome 16.10), in fact
dumpkeys still prints the old mappings. Besides, the solution is
supposed to be temporary, meaning it does not persist across reboots.

Hi,
Thanks @Team Already done, i think that such issue produce only when we use
DELL OEM version.
I change ubuntu repositories and i upgrade to latest LTS version and i have a
good function of chromium now.

Same her on Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 64-bit with GNOME 3 Team PPA. gnome-
settings-daemon can eat up my 8 GB RAM after time, and then desktop 3D
animations are very slow/choppy. Solution is to log out and in again.

Because I can't fix this for Trusty, you will need to manually uninstall
the current chromium-browser package and reinstall it:
sudo apt remove chromium-browser chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra
sudo apt install chromium-browser
