[Bug 1644641] Re: Newton, Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Keystone authentication issue
Hi All, I also have the same issue tried multiple times both on virtual box and KVM environments. The request you have made requires authentication. from 10.0.0.11 I tried similar instruction on Centos7(newton) guide and have same failure at same points. [Bug 1686299] Re: Cannot get past login after update to 4.4.0.75-generic
Okay I was able to fix this. I tried updating to nvidia-375 in case that was the issue, and during the install I noticed it was compiling something with clang instead of gcc. After that I was getting the same behaviour from both 4.4.0-72 and 4.4.0-75. I think what happened was: 1. I did update-alternatives to switch cc/c++ to clang 2. I updated my kernel, which rebuilt part of nvidia's driver with clang 3. Broken. [Bug 1648183] Re: Crackling and popping sound when using headphones
I've managed to fix partially the problem or at least I can narrow it down. So , if I override all my other audio lines via hdajackretask module and only enable the headphone one, the sound is perfect. What happens though when I turn back on the line for the Internal speakers , it goes back to crackling and popping in the internal speakers and headphones. As regards gnome-initial-setup, it's a design matter a bit beyond the docs internals, and I would suggest a separate thread about it on the ubuntu-desktop mailing list. Ubuntu MATE has something along those lines, and if we keep lightdm, it can be worth mentioning that they show a customized first page in the guest session. > Yes, we could still switch to gnome-user-guide later. [Bug 1686237] Re: [SRU] microrelease exception for src:php7.0 (7.0.18)
7.0.18-2ubuntu1 has landed in 17.10. ** Description changed: There have been a number of microreleases of PHP 7.0 upstream since the last update to Xenial (which corresponded to the merge in Zesty). As we have re-merged again in Artful, it feels appropriate to provide another MRE update to php7.0. A number of critical security and bug-fixes are present in each 7.0.x. Rather than backporting individual patches (e.g., Bug # 1569509), I believe it makes significantly more sense to follow the upstream 7.0.x. Upstream PHP is demonstrating an improved approach of bugfixes only in 7.0.x: - - 7.0.18: http://php.net/ChangeLog-7.php + - 7.0.18: http://php.net/ChangeLog-7.php#7.0.18 The upstream CI is at: https://travis-ci.org/php/php-src and is run regularly. Our php7.0 source package has autopkgtests for the 4 SAPIs, mod-php, cgi, fpm and cli. We have also updated the packing to run the source tests during the build itself. I do not believe there is a firm statement from upstream on API/ABI stability, but the general approach seems to be a BC-break would result in 7.1.0. Additionally for this SRU, there is (at least) one bug fixed upstream which will be fixed by updating to a newer upstream version: LP: #1674892. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1686237 Title: [SRU] microrelease exception for src:php7.0 (7.0.18) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php7.0/+bug/1686237/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
