after 5 restarts still all errors appeared.
.. after trying fully report all errors - going through every bug window
and dialog - reporting above.. and restarting computer, all error

On the day I reported the bug I was able to reproduce it multiple times, next
day I tried the mainline kernel, it worked, installed back the old kernel and

As per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/gce-compute-image-packages-Updates, I
have created a new image in ubuntu-os-cloud-devel (daily-ubuntu-
console-1404-trusty-v20170424) and run all of our automated testing
against it. The GCE team have confirmed that this image looks good to
them.

Hello Steve, or anyone else affected,
Accepted update-manager into precise-proposed. The package will build
now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-
manager/1:0.156.14.22 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
