I have just tested my laptop by installing the mainline kernel 4.14.15.
It boots fine and bumblebee works fine. So it looks like this upstream

The documentation for the 'hook' scripts is somewhat ambiguous.
I tried to include 'snap set' commands from within the install hook
which just causes the hook to hang (I'm guess the set command is waiting
for the install to finish which it never will).

Let's make it clear that it's absolutely most definitely not a bug in
gnome-terminal. Gnome-terminal uses old-fashioned server-side
decorations, that is, the window border is drawn by the window manager.
There is no way gnome-terminal could legally ask it to draw something
else there.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1712961, so is being marked as such.
I just upgraded the kernel to 4.13.0-31 but the problem still persists.
I am using Kubuntu 17.10 and after I reboot, I can not start the X
server. If I try to start it, it shows message that it can not find
opengl 2. Any idea how to fix this? I install the nvidia driver via
repository.
