When the upgrade was almost complete I received another message "could not install upgrades, the upgrade has aborted. Your system could be in an unstable state. The encrypted partition password fields do not have any placeholder text that say something like "Enter your encrypted volume's password" - "Confirm your password" I went by it pretty fast but I'm pretty sure there isn't error indication. I can also mention that changing my theme from Ambiance to Adwaita removed the issue. [Bug 1784774] Re: snapd is not autofs aware and fails with nfs home dir
I created a patch to workaround this problem: https://github.com/bryant1410/snapd/commit/a9831da29aba7a4905647ff582061ac399a3b240 It's basically hardcoding a value. I'm not sure what the correct behavior should be for all the cases that /home is autofs, or if it should check that /home/user is NFS instead.
