How about fixing it without rewriting extfs? After 19 minutes
extracting and a reported 30 more to go, I quit MC and unziped the file
from the command line. Took less than a minute, so MC is definitely
hosed in how it unzips.

Hi Kleber,
the zram test should be blacklisted, the reason why it's not working has been
logged in bug 1806799.
I think this applies to ubuntu_quota_smoke_test as well.

4.4.0-140 does not solve the problem for me either (had to revert back
to 4.4.0-138).
The first time I tried 4.4.0-140 the system locked up, but there was no
kernel crash stacktrace and I was able to use the Magic SysRq key
combination to avoid a hardware reboot.
The second time I tried 4.4.0-140
Does the problem only occur in Xorg sessions (the "Ubuntu" login
option)? Or does it also occur in "Ubuntu on Wayland" sessions?
