[Bug 1841661] Re: The cursor disappears, when I use GNOME on Wayland
Actually, I'm not certain it is a duplicate of that one - this bug I think is a regression in eoan due to some change in the kernel between disco and eoan. Perhaps they are related though. When I'm back from travelling I'll try to do a little bit of investigation (but I don't know anything about the DRM subsystem so bisecting is probably the best that I'm going to be able to achieve). ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 1767654 [Intel Braswell/Apollo Lake] Cursor gets stuck on left side of the screen -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1841661 Title: The cursor disappears, when I use GNOME on Wayland To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1841661/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1841717] [NEW] Remove from Ubuntu 19.10
Public bug reported: This was originally added with the expectation that Ubuntu (it's not in Debian) had a team to maintain it: See original add bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openerp6.1/+bug/1053933 Odoo (they renamed years ago) is actively maintained and is at version 12 (https://www.odoo.com/odoo-12-release-notes / https://github.com/odoo/odoo). Odoo itself provide their own debs (and RPMs and docker images, etc) and is available as a SaaS. It's an impressive product but I don't see an advantage of having in Archive vs their own distribution method. I don't think it's feasible to try to add Odoo 12 as an upgrade to OpenERP6.1, so even if someone wanted a modern variant in archive I think it would have to be a distinct package. bryan@desktop:~$ reverse-depends src:openerp6.1 No reverse dependencies found bryan@desktop:~$ reverse-depends -b src:openerp6.1 No reverse dependencies found ** Affects: openerp6.1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: py2-removal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1841717 Title: Remove from Ubuntu 19.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openerp6.1/+bug/1841717/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1102906] Re: Cannot broadcast both on global and link address on same interface
Part of the reason this behavior exists in Avahi is that many applications do not correctly retrieve the scope ID (interface index) when doing hostname resolution, and if not supplied then connection to such a link local address will fail. Applications are likely to receive such an address at random. Also until very recently nss-mdns didn't actually support passing through that scope ID, though it now does in the latest versions. So changing Avahi to always return these link local IPs is much more likely to break pretty much every other application except Pidgin. To my mind what Pidgin should do to resolve this issue is to explicitly either not block based on the incoming IP address, or, bind explicitly to the IP address that is being advertised to prevent the connection being sourced from the link local address. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1102906 Title: Cannot broadcast both on global and link address on same interface To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/avahi/+bug/1102906/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1841715] [NEW] Remove testdrive from Ubuntu 19.10
Public bug reported: Upstream development stopped in 2015: https://code.launchpad.net/testdrive It depends on bits we want to remove * Python2 * pygtk (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/testdrive/+bug/1740817) * python-notify No reverse depends: bryan@desktop:~$ reverse-depends src:testdrive No reverse dependencies found bryan@desktop:~$ reverse-depends -b src:testdrive No reverse dependencies found I did look at forking it for a bit. My evaluation is it makes more sense to add this functionality to something else rather than keep this package in archive. (virt-manager , Boxes, or multipass - was aiming for multipass but so far it was decided this was out of scope) ** Affects: testdrive (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: py2-removal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1841715 Title: Remove testdrive from Ubuntu 19.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/testdrive/+bug/1841715/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1841669] Re: SR-IOV interface goes down when testing network performance
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1841669/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1841614]
Thank you for using Ubuntu and taking the time to report a bug. Your report should contain, at a minimum, the following information so we can better find the source of the bug and work to resolve it. Submitting the bug about the proper source package is essential. For help see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . Additionally, in the report please include: 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'cat /etc/lsb-release' or System -> About Ubuntu. 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'dpkg -l PKGNAME | cat' or by checking in Synaptic. 3) What happened and what you expected to happen. The Ubuntu community has also created debugging procedures for a wide variety of packages at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures . Following the debugging instructions for the affected package will make your bug report much more complete.
