There are 4 HDMI/Displayport audio
The problem is in the graphic drivers like nouveau and radeon. The audio
side needs to detect the monitor is plugged in as well as ELD data, then
the hdmi audio could work.

I am now running 18.04 LTS, problem is there since 16.04 LTS.
I have noticed if I disable my displays from going into power-safe mode
and still let ubuntu go into the lock screen I could keep the machine

I had this problem or a similar one: repeatedly failing to receive an
image shared from android to Ubuntu. I got this message on Android 9:
"Bluetooth share: File IMG not sent",
and this FORBIDDEN message in syslog from obexd:
Nov 9 10:35:17 sn obexd[24314]: CONNECT(0x0),
Note that I was running Ubuntu 18.04.3 Bionic with Gnome
