Very similar crash happens to me on Bionic as well. So far it seems to
me that usb_modeswitch_dispatcher is called incorrectly and therefore it
crashes when it eventually encounters a NULL pointer.

hbmqtt has supported Python 3.7 since this commit[1], which was first
released in 0.9.3.
Since Ubuntu 19.04 reaches end-of-life in a week and hbmqtt 0.9.5 is
packaged in Ubuntu 19.10, I believe this bug can be closed.
