This seems to be a kernel/firmware issue, but the attached logs do not
reveal much information when it occurs. I'll suggest you to:
1. try to capture the log with `apport` after the symptom happens again.
If you're not the reporter, file a new bug instead.
2. please try new kernel from Focal or m

For what it's worth, when I first tried to use the font app by launching
through the launcher, I consistently got freezes described as above.
Launched it directly by invoking it on command line, and then haven't
