[Bug 1864188] Re: After the upgrade of 19.10 on 2020-02-18, wifi does not exist
Is there a way to install the iwlwifi drivers again to enable wifi? this is the only source of internet. I have also experienced the same problem after installing 'ubuntu-19.10 -desktop-amd64' on a new Dell Inspiron 5491 to dual boot with the default Windows 10 that comes with the laptop. Initially I tried to install 'ubuntu-18.04.4-desktop-amd64' during each installation the installer recognized and used the WiFi each time, however, after updating Ubuntu and rebooting, this resulted in the "No WiFi Adapter Found" problem. I’m really sorry this bug was left unanswered for so long! I’m hoping to improve the situation with the apport project. Unfortunately when you're sitting on nearly 1300 open bugs, manually looking into each one becomes almost impossible. I take it this has not been an issue for a long time then. Closing.
