installation where light-locker caused it and on a fresh Lubuntu 20.04,
that was converted to XFCE, where xscreensaver was the issue. Also had 3

A workaround, if you really need auto-login, is to install lightdm (at
this point still choose gdm3), enable auto-login via gnome settings,
then switch to lightdm (sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm3). Not sure why it
autologins but it does. Can't lock the gnome session however as not
using gdm anymore.

I ran the command as you requested but I had already removed GIMP so no
result was forthcoming. The ppa I refer to is the one which Ubuntu uses
as I installed via Discover (Kubuntu). I also tried the flatpack version
which did not work as I was missing some dependency. I have tried to

confounding factor to these problems was removing my laptop from its
docking station a few minutes earlier.

As to Jacob's observation - I'm happy with this in that there is no
regression.
We'll look at Jacob's testing offline and resolve in a future v1.0.3

Tested extras 1.0.2-Oubuntu1 - did all the suggested tests. No

This nearly five years old awful bug is still present in Inkscape 1.0
(1.0+r73+1). This is a show-stopper and render Inkscape useless for
scientific use. Too bad. I am currently using Boxy SVG (https://boxy-
svg.com), which is worse than Inkscape in all matters, but works for
complex files. IIf
I'm setting this to Incomplete as the packages have *not* migrated out
of groovy-proposed yet.

It also happens with driver nvidia-340.108 in elementary OS 5.1.6 Hera.
In my case the error happens with VLC when trying to open the Hikvision rstp
streaming (H264), the error lines run fast but stop when closing VLC.
