FWIW today 3.38 was released to Arch stable repo and I tested it using
kernel 5.8.10 and 5.8.13. For the same governor, energy performance and
gpu min freq settings, stuttering in the overview has increased a bit
(HiDPI screen & 620, I think you already know that at this point).

FWIW: I have installed Ubuntu's LO 6.4.6 in my focal schroot. I'm
running Debian Buster with KDE on the host in X11. I couldn't produce
any crash with the LO in the chroot, doing Calc selections and copy and

Hit the same issue on 6th Oct 2020.
I downloaded the latest ISO from Ubuntu official website and created my
bootable USB to install the latest 20.04 version.

ls does not report directory. and echo does not expand to file. See

I've been trying for two days to install 20.04.1 or 20.10 into my new
SSD (1T)...and I've used 2 different thumb drives - and the install
hangs or crashes. Now trying with DVD-R...and it just crashed again.

Installed from there and run it. Didn't notice any issues.
