I think I found the culprit in my setup. The libc6 package (amd64) contains a

When I select that it should erase a disk and install there it queries

sudo ln -sf ../../../ubuntu-mono-dark/status/22/nm-device-wired-secure.svg
/usr/share/icons/Ambiant-MATE/status/22/nm-device-wired-secure.svg
sudo ln -sf ../../../ubuntu-mono-light/status/22/nm-device-wired-secure.svg
I found the problem: one image of the animation is misaligned.

Hello dear Canonical team,
the offered Thunderbird snap uses only HTTPS to secure the download of
Thunderbird itself and its language packs. At least I found this snapcraft.yaml
proving it:
This symptom is back in today's daily build of 22.04 when attempting to
install to ZFS/zsys with encryption. I was able to install to ZFS/zsys
without encryption successfully.
