You can also try with Opencryptoki instead of SoftHSM. Opencryptoki provides a
soft token, wich also can be used on non-s390x platforms. Please make sure you
use Opencryptoki 3.23.0. This release should be in 24.04 anyway.
Today's linux-libc-dev changelog was 4 lines. This freezes the
update-manager GUI (with 100% CPU) in Ubuntu 20.04 for very long.
My 10 year old patch above still applies.

I just updated Snap, Firefox, and Chromium, and, currently, Firefox with
hardware acceleration works fine using wayland, but not X11. Firefox
without hardware acceleration works on either.

Multiple suspends in a row worked without an external monitor connected,
but after connecting it the machine failed to suspend/resume.
