Boot animation and login screen use

All icons appear at login.
When I copy a file from Dolphin to the desktop, the icon for the copied file
only appears after refresh (F5 key).
Deleting (both hard and soft/trashcan) a file from the desktop through its
context menu makes the icon disappear.

If I create a file in the Desktop folder (from a shell with touch), it does not
