I am not close to running out of space. I am seeing a drm gpu error when
I switch back. It blinks and is gone, and then I prompted by gdm to
login again, my entire X session is gone. Wayland also has a similar
problem, except the gdm never comes back. Everything is frozen.

Right, but the SRU team would require a test in 23.10 for the fix there.
Any chance you could partition and do a test install there when the time
comes? Either way, I don't have that device, so I'll have to rely on you

is the breaking commit with git bisect. I tried to bisect forward to
0.107.1 to see if I could find the behavior change back to working but I
think my test setup is flawed or there's another factor at play here. I

Hi, thanks! You need a device that exposes two separate midi ports in
ALSA and apparently a post 5.11 kernel as ALSA changed the way they name
the ports in that case. The only device that I know of that exposes two
ports is my M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3. I'm on 22.04 so I can only test

I am running an Intel Kabylake CPU with Ubuntu 22.04, and i915 graphics
driver. I am seeing random Xorg crashes due to SIGABRT, which kicks me
back to the login screen.

If I run `sudo -E env` on my local system, I can see this env var:
SUDO_USER=tsimonq2
Which means a `sudo -u tsimonq2 firefox` would probably do the trick
