I'm using LightDM and similar things happen for me. When I choose lock
screen and then log back in all is well. If I however choose to switch
to another user and try to log myself back in Ubuntu freezes or half
freezes, the desktop becomes unusable.
This was not a problem with Beta2, but became a
Public bug reported:
I log into Ubuntu and everything works great.
I then choose another user from the user menu. If I then log myself back
in the desktop is unresponsive (or almost so, at least completely
unusable).
If I just choose to lock screen and log myself back in a few moments
later all

I removed the nvidia driver and now it works as expected.

I have a Canon Powershot A3200 camera. It works perfectly on 12.04, pops
right up when I plug it in. However on 14.04 nothing happens.
lsusb outputs shows that the camera is detected, with the right model.

Importance: Undecided
For what it's worth, this works on Debian 7.4, both stable and testing.

Was a little too quick in announcing that it worked. Turns out the
package doesn't work for me but the fix from #44 does. There is as
mentioned in #60 small difference between what the proposed solution
installs and the fix from #44, enough to make it not work for me.

Search for "gedit" returns search results for "genital mutilation" and
"genital wart" along with some rather X-rated pictures. I don't think
this is something that Ubuntu wishes for people to see in the dash.
I'm running 14.04.4 with everything updated.
