Nvidia optimus driver (intel + nvidia video cards) has been working
perfectly until kernel 4.4.0-92. However, after updating to later
versions (96, 98, 101) it stopped working and the system is only usable
by command line.

I can systematically reproduce the bug. Just opening Cheese and waiting for a
few seconds.
I am using a Dell Mini shipped with Ubuntu and upgraded to BIOS A02.
What information do you need to reproduce the problem?
By the way, where did you get A03 BIOS ?

an error when the application tries to open a popup. After the error all the
windows lose their top bar.
This application was running smoothly under Ubuntu 10.10.
Same application running under unity-2d works without any problem.

This problem is solved. All I need is restart since the last upgrade.
Now, it doesn't crash, at least with this error. Crashes sometimes due
to keyring errors, but this is another issue.
