It happens to me too, while just running the mouse form the right screen to the
left one. when hitting the edge and the launcher should pop out xserver crashes.
i cant reproduce it on purpose. but like every 10th switch from monitors it
crashes.

I had some sort of this puzzle on the external monitor since oneiric.
Now its on both screens but IIRC its just black and gray and not the things

just had this bug.
toggle didnt work. could manage to get into ccsm because the zoom was
only on the external monitor. disabled the ezoom plugin and after some
hanging unity restartet and all opened windows were still open.

just happend to me on a 13.10. clicked on the unmount arrow in nautilus
to check out an external drive. after that nautilus crashed

I did not have that issue.
I replaced an 14.04 beta install with the final 14.04 ISO and that
reinstall Option in the installer. The win7 install and other partitions
were not touched.
Its a 32bit non-uefi netbook with a win 7 install and ubuntu not
encrypted with a seperate /home partition.

ubuntu 14.10.
regular gummi installed and trying to install gummi-gtk3 form the PPA. The
gummi-gtk3 package doesnt remove gummi so its a mismatch:
/var/cache/apt/archives/gummi-gtk3_0.7.1-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
cant override »/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gummi/latex_dvi.sh«
A User reported that behaviour and on his sudo apt-get update there
were some PPAs with errors. After removing the failing PPAs the issue
seems to be resolved.

15.04 softwarecenter while he said he could before the upgrade from
14.04/14.10.
testing this on my 15.04 machine i can confirm it. i cant see paid apps,
too.

is triggered with switching of the "show the menu for one window"
setting in systemsettings->appearance -> theme behaviour.
