[Bug 1868703] Re: Support new AD requirements (ADV190023)

2020-10-21 Thread Adam Kosseck
I've done a fairly simple test using the latest Ubuntu 18.04 and can
confirm that with "ad_use_ldaps = True" set in sssd.conf, sssd appears
to only be making connections over ports 636 & 3269.

[Bug 1759014] Re: Netplan has no way to control DHCP client

2020-08-02 Thread Adam Kosseck
@ddstreet I've been looking into a different issue, which is due to the Netplan
renderer.
The renderer defaults to networkd on server/cloud and NetworkManager on
Desktop. Some apps expect NetworkManager, and break on systems configured with
networkd (e.g. UI network config, apt-daily, etc).

It's possible that the issue above needs to be tested against both
renderers as it may behave differently in each case?

Typo in the line above. Fix was:

The fix was to run
mkdir -p /var/lib/snapd/apparmor/snap-confine

I also have this bug on Ubuntu 18.04.1.

This appears on a number of machines built from the minimal server ISO.

The fix was to run
mkdir -p /var/lib/snapd/apparmor/snap-config

** Changed in: snapd (Ubuntu)

Snapd is not installed so I believe the bug is in Apparmor.
We are currently running Apparmor "2.12-4ubuntu5 amd64"

** Package changed: snapd (Ubuntu) => apparmor (Ubuntu)
