Here, with ATI X600 and Compiz enabled, i've got this:
- With Option VideoOverlay on, i've got black totem window, but correct
video in fullscreen mode.
- With Option VideoOverlay on and Option TexturedVideo on video
flickering on both window and fullscreen mode.

In fact, If you wait around five minutes or so, the film starts playing with
the subtitles loaded correctly.

Could you please try version 0.6.0? You can get a .deb from
http://www.infinicode.org/code/pyrenamer/downloads.php
Anyway, pyRenamer image functions on ly work (by now) with JPG files.

This bug should be fixed right know in pyrenamer's svn trunk. Could you
please try that version to see if the fix works?
To build latest svn version:
$ sudo apt-get build-dep pyrenamer
$ svn co http://svn.infinicode.org/pyrenamer/trunk/pyrenamer
$ cd pyrenamer
$ ./autogen.sh --prefix /usr
$ sudo
This bug should be fixed right know in pyrenamer's svn trunk. Could you
please try that version to see if the fix works?

$ svn co http://svn.infinicode.org/pyrenamer/trunk/pyrenamer
$ cd pyrenamer
$ ./autogen.sh --prefix /usr
$ sudo
Could you please try it again? Now pyrenamer uses python-hachoir-
metadata instead of eyeD3, so please install it.
$ sudo apt-get install python-hachoir-metadata
$ sudo apt-get build-dep pyrenamer
$ svn co http://svn.infinicode.org/pyrenamer/trunk/pyrenamer
$ cd pyrenamer
$ ./autogen.sh --prefix

'attach_to_status_icon' is not worknig in current fesity.
When trying to use it, it says:
AttributeError: ‘pynotify.Notification’ object has no attribute
‘attach_to_status_icon’

pygtk.require(2.0)
The fix is not uploaded yet to Feisty (19 febraury 2007), altought this
is marked as Fix Released.
Please, upload the fix before Feisty is freezed!
