I have a Microsoft® LifeCam HD-6000 connected to my computer.
Before I can login using lightdm I have to wait about 15 seconds, when the
camera is plugged in. The initialization of the camera seems to block the
input. After I logged in there is another delay of about 15
I've updated the bios but that doesn't change anything!

Yeah, I had to manually proceed with the upgrade to resolve the issue
for me. One step was to purge the mediatomb installation.
Question is if such situations can be handled by the release-upgrader
more gracefully or if it is way out of its scope. In the latter case I

the top of the screen and not right next to the dock icon.
The dock icon menu will stay there regardless if I try to activate a
menu item or activate another window, etc.

Same here on Lenovo Thinkpad T490 with i915 and external monitor
attached via Thunderbolt. External monitor goes black several times a
