Are you using edubuntu ltsp packages or packages from ltsp.org?
Could you explain a little more about the user and how they are logged
in.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: libgnomeui-common
libgnomeui-common (2.16.1-0ubuntu2) does not have gconf2 listed as a
package dependency. However, without the gconf2 package installed, the
libgnomeui-common install fails with:
Setting up libgnomeui-common (2.16.1-0ubuntu2) ...
Actually, more likely the gconf-schemas line should not be in the
libgnomeui-common.postinst. It is not present in Debian's libgnomeui-
common package, and a comment on the Ubuntu package indicates the line
was added automatically by dh_gconf.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xephyr
Xephyr version: 2:1.6.0-0ubuntu14
Ubuntu version: 9.04
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install the Maemo 4.1.2 SDK from maemo.org
2. Launch the Maemo device emulator as instructed, including starting Xephyr:
Xephyr :2 -host-cursor -screen
Update: This problem seems to be getting worse. Banshee is now using 70%
- 90% CPU, although pulseaudio usage has drop to 10% - 20%.

Are you sure? Xephyr is a nested X server. It does not touch any
hardware, does not write to dmesg and does not create a log file.
Attaching requested files anyway, even though they do not show anything
useful.

Public bug reported:
Java web applets which make sound will fail to do so when a pulse audio
application is active. If no pulse app is active, the java applet will
make sound, but no other application will be able to make any sound.
This indicates that java is using ALSA sound directly, and
